Skywatch tracker monitors public announcements of collaborations between telcos and satellite/non-terrestrial networks (NTN) players publicly announced since 1 January 2024. It also highlights where satellite operators are collaborating and competing with telcos.
A monthly snapshot of the most significant tie-ups between telcos and their counterparts in the sky, with a biannual deep dive into a critical topic
It forms part of STL Partners’ Skywatch project, launched in July 2025. From April 2026, Skywatch will be restructured around four core deliverables to provide a more targeted and in-depth analysis, as outlined below:

Skywatch tracker consists of two parts:
- The tracker is presented as a monthly updated Excel spreadsheet in which each entry summarises the characteristics of the public announcement relating to the partnership
- The report is presented as a monthly updated analysis of major developments in the satellite industry, complemented by a biannual deep dive into a critical topic.
