Background on the series
- During 2023 and 2024, STL Partners and Volt Active Data set out to build a rich understanding of the markets for edge computing and the internet of things (IoT).
- Our primary focus was on how technology solution providers can sustainably offer valuable solutions that enable enterprises to innovate and enhance their businesses.
- To bolster our existing research and collective understanding, we conducted 30+ interviews with experts across the edge and IoT ecosystems.
- This document includes all four reports from the series, originally published between April 2023 and March 2024.
- As well as a new series executive summary and series conclusion, minor updates have been made to the original reports to avoid repetition and ensure any data presented is up to date with our latest sources.
