What is ‘STL’s top edge companies’ list?

The STL’s top edge companies list recognises leading innovators in the edge computing ecosystem, from start-ups to established players. This list features companies from across the value chain, spanning edge infrastructure providers, to edge platform players to those developing the applications deployed in these environments.

What information is included about each company?

The publication covers several aspects of a company’s operations, including Company type, position in the edge ecosystem, key proposition, customers, notable achievements, and product roadmap. Only provide details you’re comfortable having published. Any sensitive/confidential client information should be removed or presented in a form suitable for public release.

Participation & Recognition:

How can I nominate my company?

  • New registrants: Simply fill out this short submission form with your company’s details and achievements. If you prefer to complete the word version of the form, please email your document to Gabi (gabija.cepurnaite@stlpartners.com). All qualifying companies will be featured on STL’s website, newsletter, and social media
  • Previously featured: If you’ve been featured in one of our Top edge companies lists before (2024/25), simply answer two quick questions by filling this shorter form. We already have your company details, so just let us know what’s new and how we can highlight your latest achievements.

What recognition will the nominated companies receive?

  • Companies that make the ‘Top edge companies’ list will be featured in STL’s monthly newsletter, website, and social media. Each company will also receive a ‘STL’s top edge companies’ badge and custom link for marketing and communications.

Process:

How are companies evaluated and when is the list published?

Companies are assessed by STL’s edge computing experts across several criteria – aspects considered include whether the company has adopted an innovative technology, approach or business model, its impact in the edge computing ecosystem, and real-world customer impact.

The list is published on an annual basis.

Is there a cost to participate?

No, there is no cost involved. Nominations and recognition are purely merit-based.

What counts as “edge computing” for this list?

STL evaluates companies according to a definition of edge computing as physical compute infrastructure that is positioned on the spectrum between device and hyperscale cloud, and supports various applications.

What happens after I submit the form?

Our analysts will review your submission and may follow up if we need clarification. All respondents will be notified whether they have been selected for the final list.
