Orange Business is entering a more mature phase of its transformation. This report explores why its pragmatic approach to partnerships, trust and platform orchestration may prove to be a more significant differentiator than any individual product announcement.
From ‘Lead the Future’ to ‘Trust the Future’: Execution, not reinvention
Orange Business uses its annual Orange Insights event to update analysts on its strategy, product evolution and business performance. Orange Insights is not primarily about making product announcements. Instead, it provides an opportunity to demonstrate progress against a long-term strategy and explain how that strategy is evolving in response to changes in the market.
This year’s event continued that tradition. Rather than unveiling a radically new direction, Orange Insights 2026 expanded on the company’s new three-year strategy, Trust the Future, announced in March following the conclusion of the previous Lead the Future plan. The emphasis this year was on explaining how the foundations laid over the last three years – including the establishment of Evolution Platform, Live Intelligence, organisational as well as back-end transformation and the establishment of a platform-first operating model – are now supporting a new phase focused on profitability and scale.
Orange Business appears increasingly confident that it has the right strategic foundations in place. The discussion has therefore moved away from what the business is trying to become and towards how it scales that vision. Throughout Orange Insights 2026, three themes repeatedly surfaced: achieving scale through partnerships, turning trust into a tangible product characteristic and continuing to build an orchestration layer that sits above increasingly complex and yet commoditised enterprise connectivity.
Taken together, they show a business that is becoming both more ambitious and more pragmatic.
