STL Partners is hosting a Senior Executive Edge strategy workshop in Berlin, in partnership with Red Hat and Atos, which centres on how to capitalise on the edge opportunity and take solutions to market.

The overall day will focus on sharing insights from our 5G and edge research, establishing an interactive forum for discussion and providing an opportunity to consider edge computing use cases with other operators. We will focus on key questions such as:

• The current and future size of the edge market ($534bn in 2030 according to our model) and the opportunities for telcos within it
• Near-term use cases that are driving edge computing adoption today and the types of ‘edge’ they leverage
• A deep dive on the near-term opportunity for telcos in video analytics
• The potential roles and associated business models for telcos in video analytics.
• The required ecosystem to deliver an end-to-end solution and how telcos should partner.
